The kit adds roughly 12" to each side of the bicycle.
The bicycle will fit through a standard door if angled. You may experience difficulty going in and out of a standard doorway head-on.
The stabilizer wheel brackets attach to the rear chain stay and seat stay tubes of the frame. They do not interfere with the cables or derailleur on your bike.
There are many bicycle frame shapes in the market and the Bike USA Stabilizer Kit may not fit on all of them. The brackets are designed to fit on a standard diamond style frame, with wheel height between 24" and 27". Unique frame types without a diamond shape rear frame style may not have the proper location for our bracket to attach to. We recommend attaching to a diamond style frame, as shown in the pictures on our website.
We DO NOT recommend using the Stabilizer Wheels with e-bikes or any motorized bike. Motorized bikes can cause loss of control with Stabilizer Wheels.
We recommend you contact your physician, physical therapist, or insurance company regarding 3rd party procurement for medical reasons.
There are many bike shops in the U.S. that carry the Bike USA Stabilizer Wheels kits. We recommend you ask your local bike shop if they carry them. We do offer dealer programs for those that do not carry them regularly. Please ask them to reach out to us for more information.
Please direct all dealer inquiries to customerservice@bikeusainc.com
